Navy to help stranded travellers

Two Royal Navy ships have been deployed to help get stranded travellers back to the UK, Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said.

HMS Ark Royal and HMS Ocean will be made available for the relief effort, Mr Brown said, after a meeting of the emergency planning committee Cobra in Whitehall.

I just got something in the post from Gordon Brown saying it's a two horse race... Labour or Tory.    Erm, why ????  It goes on to say that a vote for any other party will just help the Tories in the back door.   Oh.  I guess I can see their point...  but as for me, I can't vote for either of the two biggest parties.  Probably go with the Lib Dems ( Read more... )
